WebPageTest has long been the trusted choice for performance experts and top online retailers worldwide to enhance website speed, SEO rankings, user experience, and conversion rates. It provides in-depth diagnostic information on a page's performance, offering actionable insights to measure performance across all major browsers, device types, and network conditions.

Earlier this year, we announced the incorporation of WebPageTest into our industry-leading Internet Performance Monitoring (IPM) Platform, making it a part of Catchpoint’s suite of AI-powered enterprise offerings, which includes Real User Monitoring (RUM), SSO, Security, SLO monitoring, the largest Global Observability Network, and more.

In May, we launched our enhanced Website Experience Solution, incorporating WebPageTest’s gold-standard functionalities into the Catchpoint portal. We are thrilled about this launch, which allows our enterprise customers to benefit from features such as carbon control (coming soon), running instant tests with any device, browser, and connection speed, and using Opportunities and No-Code Experiments to test the impact of suggested changes on live sites without deploying a single line of code.

With WebPageTest in Catchpoint IPM, we are eliminating the need to switch platforms to fix front-end issues and optimize performance. This update creates a seamless experience for Catchpoint customers, empowering them to analyze their website's performance in real-time, schedule, monitor, trend, and receive alerts for WebPageTest metrics across various locations, devices, and browsers, all within a single platform.

  • Facilitate Collaboration: Front-end developers, SREs, DevOps, and WebOps teams can collaborate within a single portal to address performance issues and continuously optimize website performance.
  • Enable a Shift-Wide Approach: Use the WebPageTest API to identify and fix issues not only in production, but also in QA, staging, and development environments.
  • Correlate WebPageTest Tests with Real User Insights: Correlate WPT tests with real user insights gleaned from Real User Monitoring (RUM) for a comprehensive understanding of your website's performance and the end-user experience.
“Incorporating WebPageTest into the Catchpoint IPM Platform marks a significant milestone in our mission to provide unparalleled web performance insights. This empowers our customers to optimize their website experiences seamlessly and achieve Internet resilience by combining the best of both WebPageTest and Catchpoint," says Mehdi Daoudi, Founder & CEO of Catchpoint.
