Catchpoint Announces New Speakers, Events for First User Conference
NEW YORK--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Catchpoint TM, a leading digital experience intelligence company, announces new speakers and events for its inaugural user conference, Elevate, the first and only business user conference dedicated to Digital Experience Monitoring.
Elevate will be held Monday, April 10 through Thursday, April 13, 2017, at The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas.
Digital Experience Monitoring (DEM) is a performance monitoring discipline combining visualization, analytic, and machine learning based on tracking multiple datasets. Gartner recently recommended this approach, stating that classical end-user experience monitoring (EUEM) is insufficient in assessing how users regard application or service quality.
Max Brooks, best-selling author of World War Z and The Zombie Survival Guide, will speak at Elevate about crisis management and the need for proactive solutions. He joins other new speakers Hossein Lofti of Google, Josh Enders of Pinterest, plus Chris Chandler and Phil Stanhope of Dyn. Other conference experts hail from Microsoft, Verizon Digital Media, and Instart Logic.
“Real-world ‘in the trenches’ experiences will be an important educational component of our conference, as we work to pioneer and advance the Digital Experience Monitoring category,” says Mehdi Daoudi, CEO and co-founder of Catchpoint. “The social element is important too, and we expect our Havana Nights and golf networking events will round out a great week.”
The Havana Nights closing party will be held Wednesday night, April 12 at The Cosmopolitan, and a golf networking evening Tuesday, April 11 at Top Golf Las Vegas.
Elevate attendees will experience hands-on training with Catchpoint products, and learn the latest trends and strategies in preemptive monitoring, advanced analytics, ecosystem management, and more. With nearly every aspect of our lives becoming more reliant on online systems, the importance of fast, reliable end-user experiences will only grow.
Attendees will earn credits towards professional certifications at Monday’s training sessions, followed by two-and-a-half days of in-depth sessions and presentations. Attendees can schedule one-to-one meetings with Catchpoint performance experts, as well as network with industry peers from other countries. Sponsorship packages are still available.
Track themes for Catchpoint’s Elevate include “From Firefighting to Fire Prevention,” where DevOps experts will share stories of their most memorable performance crises and how they solved them; “Exploring and Managing the New IT Ecosystem,” focusing on the roles played by components of our increasingly complex and interdependent ecosystem; and “The IT-Customer Experience Relationship,” exploring the transformation of digital business, and the role IT will play as we all strive to provide a continuously excellent customer experience.
Workshop participants can earn Catchpoint badges for tracks they attend, which can be used as professional credits when Catchpoint launches its complete certification program later in 2017.
Registration and Pricing: Conference passes cost $395 to $595 depending on the track and event packages attended, rising to $495 to $745 after early bird registration ends January 31. Catchpoint has also negotiated a preferential hotel rate. Attendees may register at www.catchpoint.com/elevate. Questions can be directed to elevate@catchpoint.com.
